document.write("Mel Venter, Woon Ziady, Colitha van Rensburg, Kerry Rosser, Cindy de Haan, Tam Liebenberg, & Kerry Rosser made up the DYNAMIC TEAM who organized the SPECTACULAR evening, attended by 105 parents & friends, at
GOLD Restaurant. Thanks to their hard work & the support of our parents and sponsors, we raised just on R35,000.00 from the evening which includes the proceeds of both the Live & Silent Auctions. The welcoming sherry & the fun of having our faces painted, set the tone for the sumptuous food, storytelling dancers and drumming entertainment we enjoyed throughout the evening. Tks to Brennan van Heerden for being our MC & Auctioneer supreme! & Congratulations to the successful bidders of all of the amazing items which were on offer; you have all been notified by e-mail. Tks.

document.write("Hello Parents, This desktop version of D6 will soon be closed. We urge all of our parents to please download D6+ to your mobile. You will find the app. in the Google Play store as well as the Apple I-store. You should have received an invitation, containing a link to register, last week. If you didn't find it, please check your junk/spam inbox or contact us to resend the invite to you. The new app accommodates two way communication and will allow us to publish notices and messages with attachments and reply slips. In our effort to save on printing and paper costs, this will be the sole method of communication between school and parents. At present the app is only available for your mobile but, there will soon be desktop version. Thank you.

document.write("Many thanks to Walter and Marlene Tarr for running our July Pyjama Night last Friday evening. 34 children arrived in their pyjamas, teddy clutched under an arm, and spent the next 3 hours playing games, gorging on hot dogs and popcorn. watching a movie and generally having a whale of a time. We hope their Mom's and Dad's enjoyed the opportunity for a quiet dinner together or simply being couch potatoes in charge of the remote control.
Just a reminder of the Pyjama Night dates for the remainder of 2019: Friday,23rd August.; 13th Sept; 25th Oct. and 29th Nov. WE HAVE ALSO REVISED THE PRICING TO: R100 per child; R80 for 1st sibling; R60 for each additional sibling. NB the discount applies to siblings only, not friends. We look forward to seeing you all next time!

document.write("There have been a few cases of chicken pox at school lately, so below are the symptoms to look out for:
At first - A headache, swollen lymph nodes, fever and a transient blotchy rash.
1-2 days later - Classic rash of little pimples which appear over 3-4 days, are most profuse on the abdomen and develop within a few hours into blisters which dry and scab, unless infected. These usually fall off after about 10 days.

If your child has gone for an interview or is still going for an interview at Kronendal, you should only hear the outcome on or after the 7th June 2019

In our effort to increase security by becoming a cashless school and to alleviate inconvenience to parents needing to book and pay for any ad hoc school events and functions, as well as library books, hats & t-shirts, etc., we have introduced Karri, a payment platform used by over 1000 schools. Please check your class WhatsApp group for full details on how you can start using the Karri payment platform. Karri is 100% POPPI compliant and allows you to make payments to Valley from your phone, via Credit Card or via EFT. There is absolutely NO COST to parents.
For your added convenience, we are now also registered with SNAPSCAN. Visit the office to scan the code.
